Post by carlita on Tue Oct 11, 2011 6:32 pm

The puppies are going on their first trip out tommorrow.Alana has asked her teacher if they can go to school, so they are going in at 1 o clock to meet the children. so it will be another wash and brush up for them

Aaawwwww bless I wish I could see them. The children will adore them. It is good that they are getting used to the car as well. We bought Tasha not very far from you in Denbighshire and she was dreadfull in the car bringing her home which was about a three and a half hour journey home. It still isn't her favourite place to be but she copes much better now . In fact they have had a lovely day out today in Carmarthenshire.

That is so sweet. I bet the children will go mad, and it's brilliant socialisation for the pups as well. You best make sure you count them all in and out though, because one or two could easily go missing in bags and under coats!!! lol!

Hope you all have a fantastic day . Smile

Nobody is going to be able to accuse you of NOT socialising your pups lmao

How exciting for the school children... I used to take my dogs into school and the kids loved it (and there have been a couple of previously dog-terrified children who were won around by our breed who are such wonderful ambassadors for the canine species Very Happy)

We had a lovely time at school Alana was very proud of "her" puppies and the children all had lots of questions and the puppies were very good and not at all afraid of all the noise, the teacher was very interested in the showing side of it , I think Alana will talk her around into letting Darcy go next, they are all asleep now perfect peace for a little while

I bet they are exhausted after their day out lol!

That is where I met my first shih tzu - I had a boy in my class who had one and I asked him to bring it in for the children to see (that was my excuse anyway) and I just fell totally in love - had already been researching the breed prior to that Very Happy

So glad everyone enjoyed themselves, though I wonder how many parents are now being pestered with 'I want one?'! lol! It must have been a brilliant experience for the pups as well. Smile
