Every few minutes I kept thinking of you yesterday and today. Just wondering how it all went yesterday. I am glad the journey was better than you probably expected. I know from experience that a three hour journey with an unhappy dog is not a pleasant experience at all. It sounds very much that Tucker will settle quickly. It wil be nice once he settles and you can see his really come through.I am so pleased too that he slept with your girls without a problem. Look forward to photo's.I am sure Lesley will help you when she comes on here. teddy hug

The journey that was going to take three hours according to Google map took us nearly five hours, on the way and almost the same on the way back. Still it was worth it. I was more worried about me travelling than the dog I think, He seemed to take it all in his stride.

Glad you are all home safely. He may be a bit quiet while he settles, but wait until he realises that you are his forever home, then his character will come out. Smile

I have been trying to upload or photos but had no luck yesterday today I recieved email from servimg.com but when I tried to log in it keeps telling me wrong information entered. So once I eventually can log in I will try again I guess. As it still not working here.
Anyway the little shihtzu slept till 5am today and decided it was time to get up, so out in the garden we went, then back to bed. He will be getting seen by the vet in due course.

I think Tasha could beat that time. The little monkey started 'throwing up' in her little house at 1.30 am so out I went with her. I don't know what it was that caused that but she was fine in herself and has been since. She didn't want Brekky yesterday but devoured a few tid bits of fish at lunchtime when we took them out for lots of sniffs to Fishguard & Haverfordwest. Fortunately she has a piece of Vet Bed to lie on in her house and it just meant taking that out and putting one of their doggy towels in for her to lie on.
Glad Tucker is settling in ok. I am sure Lesley will help with photo's soon. I may try and get a photo on here to see if I have a problem with uploading and let you know.
I don't have a problem. Only thing I had to do was when I got the URL up I had to copy it then paste it into the next 'television screen' after you have clicked on the'host an image button. Then went to preview and it appeared. I am probably making it sound more complicated than it should be. If you try that and still don't get it I will PM my e mail address and you can send them to me and I will put them on for you. BTW hat is Mali in the photo.

Are you trying to upload from an ipad because for some reason it doesn't work. You need to either upload from a computer or put the photos onto photo bucket and then upload x

Not sure what you're doing hun but your links reference the c drive on your own computer which is why they don't show here. I am busy at work at the moment but will try and talk you through it later in the week when I have a bit more time x

Tucker is settling in well. he snores nice and loud when having a nap or sleep especially on his back he and loves playing ball in the garden. He loves his food and his bedtime biscuits. teddy hug

He is Gorgeous He looks soooooo Happy and looks like he has settled in well. As the old saying goes HE HAS LANDED ON HIS FEET.Bless him.

You can tell by his body language that he is happy.Hope you have lots of fun together.

He is gorgeous and looks so happy to be living with you. If this is how contented he is now, he is certainly going to be one VERY happy little shih tzu once he gets into his routine with you. Smile

He is very good, Ive had him off the lead as he seems to be so obedient for a slightly stubborn breed. He has a good recall providing he doesnt see another dog playing ball lol! He mixes well with other dogs when we go onto the village field. Just a little wary of much bigger ones. He seems to really like a small squeeky ball and loves running after that and bringing it straight back for another game.
I am so very pleased with him.
It was well worth the journey I had been dreading.
I have been changing him over from beta adult complete food to Arden grange adult complete food salmon and rice and he loves it so far. He sits, begs, speaks and walks to heel off the lead when asked to do so.
He really is a very good little boy. He also loves a couple of gravy bone doggy biscuits. He has his arden grange in the morning and his gravy bones in the evening.

This evening he decided his recall would only work once he had ran off across the field and had a wee and providing no one elses dog was playing with a ball, as soon as sees one, especially the squeaky ones, hes off after it. I had no idea such a calm dog in the house could run so fast after a ball, in the hope no other dog could get it first. He really does love being off the lead having a bit of freedom, however I think this will be best when no one is around playing with a squeaky ball as he suddenly goes very deaf all of a sudden. He is an amazing little character. teddy hug
