Goodnight Poppy - Run Free at the Bridge Poppya10
I have tonight received some sad news about the lovely dog Poppy who was owned by a member of this forum... although Kaz65 (Karen) has not been on the forum for a while I often think about her and so I would like to take this moment to express my sympathy at the loss of Poppy who was only a very young dog and send her family a hug because I know they are devastated.... Poppy was a very beautiful girl and Karen's first shih tzu.Goodnight Poppy - Run Free at the Bridge 132239Goodnight Poppy - Run Free at the Bridge 132239Goodnight Poppy - Run Free at the Bridge 132239

Poppy darling you were only here for a short time but you were very much loved. Run free at Rainbow Bridge and have fun with the Simbalove clan who are waiting there for you xxxxxxGoodnight Poppy - Run Free at the Bridge 132239Goodnight Poppy - Run Free at the Bridge 132239

OMG Karen seeing the photo of her in your signature I cannot believe how like my Isabella she is (thinking about it I probably fell for Isabella because of her colouring and character because I loved Poppy when I met her).

She will never be far away from you as you know they all leave pawprints in our hearts... and the one thing that keeps me going in this life is the belief that we will all meet up again one day when it is our time! You have my number if you want or need to vent your spleen and please give Sasha a squidge from me as I expect she is missing her too xxxxGoodnight Poppy - Run Free at the Bridge 132239Goodnight Poppy - Run Free at the Bridge 132239Goodnight Poppy - Run Free at the Bridge 132239Goodnight Poppy - Run Free at the Bridge 132239

So sorry to hear your sad news Karen. It is hard enough when we lose a dog at an old age, but when it happens to a youngster it is doubly hard. I am talking from experience there, and know the feelings you are going through at the minute. Just take each day as it comes, and in time things will get easier. You will never forget Poppy as she found a special little place in your heart that belonged to her and her alone, and nothing anybody can do or say will be able to take that from you. The fact you are hurting so much now, shows how much she means to you. If you need people to chat to, please come here and chat to us, we all understand how you are feeling at the minute, and as Lesley says, give Sasha a special hug as she must be feeling lost without her special friend. teddy hug

Thank you so much for all your kind words.

Lesley she was a special little girl & I will never foget her. Sorry if any spelling mistakes but can't see what I writing for crying. My heart is so broken just can't get her passing out of my head. ( it wasn't very nice had a really bad seizure) I tried to bring her back but failed :-(

Sasha & Alfie (Staff) keep following me round & giving me lots of kisses but it hurts me more. Think they know it was me that took her away (Vets) & want her back home.
But my baby not coming home she's gone.
One day I will meet her again & I will never let her go again.

My hubby mention another to help easy the pain but it won't bring my baby back.

Love & miss you Poppy Why did you have to go so young. :-((((

Love & miss you Your heart broken Mum :-(((

Goodnight Poppy - Run Free at the Bridge Empty Re: Goodnight Poppy - Run Free at the Bridge

Post by Ioxia, Coco & Saska Mon Dec 17, 2012 11:36 pm

As you know Karen I am devastated to hear about little Poppy, and had to let Lesley know as I knew she'd want to know too. I remember sitting next to you at Tatton park and our dogs were all sat with one another and many times I looked at Poppy and Sasha and thought for a split second they were my Coco and Saska, they looked very alike. She was one special furbaby who will be missed by many, but one day she will be waiting for you at the bridge to lick you and she'll tell you that she knows you did everything you could for her. Take care hun and you know where I am if you need a cry xx

Thanks love. I have my good days this morning was a bad one. I was watching Bella run round with Sasha and thought of Poppy and had a little cry. Goodnight Poppy - Run Free at the Bridge 147249

Some of the things she does remind me of Poppy and they make me smile. Somethings me and my hubby have laughed and said ohhh nooo not another Poppy. Goodnight Poppy - Run Free at the Bridge 313452

But its been nice.Bella as helped me and when I have my momentsI pick her up and give her a cuddle she then licks my face as if to say its ok Mum. I'm here Poppy will be ok. Goodnight Poppy - Run Free at the Bridge 244221
