Hello , I am new here and look forward to getting to know other shihtzue lovers. I live in the countryside of Essex and am married with a son ,daughter and last year became a nana for the first time. I am a devoted Osmond fan and bunny lover . I quess right from when i was a teenager i ad always wanted my very own puppy ,but always dreamed it rather than acheiving (if you understand). I have always loved smaller furry breeds and the shihtzue was my favourite. When my little grandaugher was born last May and my lovely daughter moved in with her fiance ,my desire to have my puppy grew closer. I took time out and after many days and months searching and asking questions , i found my little shihtzue. She has came into my life at exactly the right time , and has got me out of the house walking and meeting people . Her name is Daisy and she celebrated her first birthday on xmas Eve She is a puppy with a lot of attidude and along with being mischievious and totally adorable will grow with my little grandaughter. Well just wanted to say hi to all of you out there .

and welcome to the forum. I started off with one, 4 weeks later got another one. they are 5 years old in march. Then i got pippa, she is 2 on 25 feb. they Have been good for my health, in getting me up in the morning and making me be more active walking them etc.

Hi Daisychain and welcome to the forum, it's great to have you here.

We are a very friendly bunch of shih tzu addicts so you will be in good company here. Daisy has obviously come into your life at the right time, and you will see that she is the perfect furry friend for your Granddaughter. Shiz tzu love children and they will have great fun playing together and getting up to no end of mischief. Please let us see some photos of Daisy, they are essential!
