Hi from north lincs

Hi, my wife and I are proud owners of 9 Shih Tzu's and 2 Mini Schnauzers - yes mad I know but....they are soooo addictive.

However, we are looking for a new loving home for one of our boys, Alfie, as he just doesnt get on with Charlie - same age - and this only happened when we got them castrated at the same time. 6 mths of hormone injections are therapy has not worked so sadly the time has come to allow Alfie to go to a new loving and caring home.

He is brilliant with other dogs, with the grand kids and walks with no issues and loves people and other dogs - just not Charlie!!

So, whilst this is my first post on this forum it is also with sadness that we look for someone to take him on. If you are interested then lets chat

Hello oldmanmillie ...this must be very sad for you and we are all mad about our Shih Tzu on this site....I do hope some-one will be interested. If you can ,could we have some photo's. BTW welcome to this site.

Oh !!! WOW They are beautiful dogs. Alfie looks cute and I do hope you are lucky finding a good home for him ...it would break my heart to be in you position.

Fantastic dogs, they are all gorgeous. My dream is to have a third one but Hubby has put his foot down. Anyway welcome to the forum and I do hope you find a loving home for Alfie.

Meg is from welsh parentage so you just never know.....

Hi everyone, I'm married to John (oldmanmillie) sonifnyou have read his post you will have seen photos of all our lovely dogs.
Sad to say now Alfie has gone to his new home now thanks to this forum, so thanks to Joy and Becky for all your help.

Alfie seems to be settling in ok. We miss him so much, and it was the hardest thing we have had to do parting with one of our dogs, his little face as we left him will stay with me foever, but on the possitive side our pack are so relaxed and little charlie has started playing instead of hiding all the time.

So please be happy Alfie we wil always love you x

You have been so brave ...but you have done the best for alfie and we know you know that. I am sure he will have a happy relaxed life and be very much loved in his new home. You are sure to miss him . for you a

It must have been so sad for you to have to re-home Alfie, but you had to do what was best for him, and it sounds like you have done that. Hopefully he will settle nicely in his new home and you will be able to keep in contact with the family so know how he is getting on.

Think I might have had a little hand in that too as I sent a prod in the right direction to a lovely family who I knew would just love to have this boy

Sometimes you have to let one go (I did years ago with a half brother to one of my boys) - it shows you love them as it is the hardest thing to do
