Baxter booked in for Dog Training Classes

Post by Sandi on Wed Mar 09, 2011 9:03 pm

Thats us booked in for dog training classes commencing 17th March for 11 weeks. 1st week just owners without our dogs then 10 weeks with.

The classes are being held in Muthill which for some might be amusing Mutt-Hill - \get it ? lol We pronounce it Muth-ill here but I thought the translation in relation to dog training was worth a wee mention.

Baxter certainly needs more socialisation not so much with other dogs but with other humans. Right now he barks and goes in a reverse motion when we meets people so hopefully that will improve.

I was chuffed with him today though. My in-laws visited and he only barked at the window when he saw them coming then welcomed then nicely now that he recognises them.

Isn't fun watching a wee life develop ?!

Love the name - I really appreciate that... very amusing lol!

YOu are going to have so much fun going training with Baxter - I did with Josh. I did try a place closer to home when I wanted to continue with him on a weekly basis just to have a night out together (bit sad I know) but I didn't think they were so good and felt uncomfortable.... which is sad because where I took Josh has changed days and times so I cannot take Isabella (and my god she needs some training - or rather I need some training in HOW to train a dog who has NO DESIRE tobe trained bouncy lol) and I don't know where else I can take her Sad
