I am so pleased that Suki & Ebony seem to be settling in a bit better now, and yes these little ones (and not so little) have had quite an upheaval in recent months it's going to take time for them to realise this is their 'forever home'. I also agree with Gez that given the chance they probably would have been better in a quieter environment at their time of life, but unfortunately we can't always make that happen if no one comes along to take them on. I know my-self when we take Mali & Tasha to see my grand- children I realise what a lovely quiet environment we live in, but at the same time they love being with them and when we get home again we don't have another peep out of them. It sounds like you are doing a really good job with total dedication to Suki & Ebony.

hi everyone
sorry ive not been on to update everyone, been busy with work and looking after my little one who has been poorly.we are making slow but positive progress with suki ,she can still be grumpy sometimes but she gets a firm no when she does and the other night she came up to me for a fuss.she gets very excited when its time for a walk and my four year old can happily put her lead on and take her for a walk.we are going to try her off lead next week as her recall is good when she is on a longline. she has found some new friends my friends border terrier who can also be grumpy sometimes and doesnt bother if suki is on her bed and grumping she just gets straight on and sits next to heror nearly on her.she also loves our guinea pigs she can often be found in the garden siting next to their run wagging her tail, not sure what she would do if there was no mesh between them but they have been nose to nose through the mesh.Ebony has found her puppy in her again ,she has learend to open all the kitchen cupboards, shes eaten the oven gloves and she loves to shred toilet roll tubes all over the place and if there is any food on the foor its a race between her and wizard who finds it first, she still on smaller portions of food and is slowly loosing the weight ,she now tries to get in the van by her self if you dont watch her. i will take some more pictures and put them on soon

Sounds like things are settling down now Sam teddy hug

i am not surprised about Suki and the guinea pig - they do befriend all sorts of little critters. We had one who loved the cockatiel and when he died the shih was inconsolable!!
