Pembrey Dogs Day Out

Just seen this for anyone who is interested. We went last year and it was a really good fun day out. Loads of dogs, all well behaved, and a really good chance to have a good fun day out. There is a fun dog show, and all sorts of events, along with animal charity stands and demonstrations.

As long as the weather is good, and it isn't the weekend that Lauren goes off to uni, then fingers crossed I should be.

I think I should be there as my sister is probably going to be there with her display team

I wanted to go to this Lesley because I had so much fun last year, but it is the weekend that Lauren is going off to uni, so there is no way I can go unfortunately.

I have been looking forward to it since last year, and it is great to see all the dogs having fun together. There wasn't one bit of nastiness between any of the dogs last year, and everyone was having such great fun with their dogs which was the best thing.

So was I Lesley! Originally Lauren thought she would be going to Aberystwyth which was her 2nd choice (typical, she always puts herself down and says she has done worse than she thought), and they don't start back until the following week, but she did better so got into her first choice which is Oxford Brookes, and they start next weekend. Whist I am pleased she got in there, in some ways I would have preferred Aber, because it is closer and easier to get to, only about two hours and 70 miles instead of 4 hours and 160 miles!!!

I am sure someone is deliberately stopping me meeting up with everyone and having a good day out. Instead I will be having a horrible day having to take Lauren and leave her there. I was never this bad with my other daughter, maybe because I knew I still had Lauren at home, but this time I am terrible, and dreading it.

I am glad Lauren has done so well you must be very proud of her - it must be really hard to let her go but at least nowadays there is skype as well as telephones xxxxx

Yes, I am really proud of her, but it is the hardest thing in the world to let her go. Don't worry I already have skype on the computer, and they have a phone in her flat that can accept incoming calls, plus we both have unlimited texts on our mobiles, so hopefully she will keep in touch!!!

She'll be home with her dirty washing soon enough!

I just hope it isn't like a friend's son who came home with a term's load of dirty washing in one go
