Re: Hello Shihtzusrock79
They are lovely, I am sure that they will get used to each other over time, I know when I first got Poppy, Wispa would have nothing to do with her, and she wouldnt even look at me for a week as though to say what have you brought her home for? They do get on now but they dont cuddle up together. x

Re: Hello Shihtzusrock79
Your so right Michele--My Yorkie would not look at me for a week or so after i brought home Cricket. Completely played up the part of the victim, as if i was horrible for even suggesting that she share her air with this new puppy. lol. But she finally started acting more herself, and sure enough today she came right up to Cricket and they played and had the best time. I was so happy and relieved. Now if only my older shihtzu would not be such a grump, id be in business.

Oh here is a little bit cuter picture of Cricket. Her eyes look a little googly, lol. But it just makes me love her even more.

Re: Hello Shihtzusrock79
aww she is a cutie - as are your other two doggies
It took Josh almost five weeks to decide that he liked the pup I fostered and was going to adopt and then sadly I lost her. I have just had another baby a week ago and this time he hasn't wasted any time in getting to love her and play with her and I am sure Hope will come round too soon - it is just a bit of an imposition to expect the "queen" to tolerate this little upstart
Before you know it they will be snuggling up together and Hope will be mtoerhing Cricket. Your dogds have fab names btw xxxxx

Thank you--Its always so hard for me to make up my mind with names. I usually try and stick to "people" names, lol. (minus Cricket i guess??) I end up making up lists, and then sit round' the house saying it out loud different ways to see if it sounds right to me, lol. Whatever works, i guess. Yea i hope that Hope will at least relax with her, Mother her i just dont see, its not really her thing. lol. I would have a hard time fostering dogs, i would get so attached, that it would be terribly sad to see them go. But, i think its wonderful that you do, and that there are some dogs that get to stay in a house where someone will love them, until they find their forever homes.

Re: Hello Shihtzusrock79
I am not sure I can do it again - I fell in love with thepup, became a failed fosterer but then she died and I was devastated.... it will be a long time before I can go through that again (and now with the work problem I won't be able to anyway cos you can't foster a wee dog and then leave it unattended in a house for hours!!)
