looking for a shih tzu

Post by perkib on Sun May 30, 2010 12:27 pm

Hi ,
I have a mother who lives alone, she has had a shih tzu for years but lost him due to illness several weeks ago. As you can appreciate she was devastated at this loss so we are doing what we can to find another which would like a new loving home. She is very active and would take Barney on daily walks around her home in Wells Somerset. Ideally we are looking for an older dog that is already trained as I think a pup would be too much work for her. House training is the important thing so if a pup is house trained then that would be fine. As I said she is very active so exercise would not be a problem.
Can anyone help Smile

Hi Perkib, we are very sorry to hear of the loss of your Mothers shih tzu.

There are a number of rescue centres here on the forum. I have been looking at pets for homes website over the last week and there are some older dogs looking for new homes.

I hope you are able to find a furbaby as soon as possible! They bring so much love to the house, that I cannot imagine life without them teddy hug
