Hello to all

Post by yorkiegirl on Sun Nov 08, 2009 12:06 am

Hi
Just joined as I was told that a link to my website was on here & I was curious.
I have run a rescue for mainly Yorkshire Terriers, but over the years have been asked to help with other Toy breeds, so it is now known as The Yokshire Terrier & Toy Breed Rescue. We have had in many Shih Tzus over the years & they really are adictive, had a lovely pair of oldies in recently that were so adorable I was sad to see them go, but they are living with a retired couple & boy are they spoilt Rolling Eyes
Anyway enough of my drivel. Would just like to say sofa 2 hello

Welcome from me and my two girls Mali & Tasha. Looking forward to hearing all about the work you do. It must be very rewarding but sad when you find homes for the dogs.I totallly agree that Shih Tzu's are addictive they say like a box of chocolates.

Addictive? I have to agree with you there Smile

Ohhhh.... oldies..... now there's where my soft spot is..... I have a 12yr old Lhasa and an 11yr old Westie along with 2 x Scotties and our very own little yoblet - Grouch - the Shih Tzu.

If I ever decided to become a fosterer I know that my home would be bursting at the seams because I'd never be able to let any of them go!!
My hat is definitely off to all fosterers in rescue. I think they do a sterling job on the frontline.

Do you have any piccies of your oldies for me us to drool slurp moon over gaze at? wub

Edit to add: Oops..... me too...... meant to include a hello from me in this post too... hi

Here they are. They were 9 & 10 years old & really the most sweetest pair we have had in. They absolutely loved children to the point where they would run up to them & rollover for cuddles.
They are now living with a wonderful elderly couple who have 15 grandchildren & great grandchildren who range from 27 years right down to 3 months old

They look very well settled and happy in their new home. I am sure they are very spoilt, it is so easy to do that but the love you get back in return is so worth it.

teddy hug

Mali loves to get right in their toy box .
