Okay, I'm dense. I know how to post a link to off-site pictures, but I don't know how you all are posting pics in your messages. Can anyone help? Thanks!

It is by using photobucket because there is only a small gallery with this host and also there is not the facility to post within a message. I am too tired now but will put up a description asap. Had planned to do it before but I thougt everyone was managing!!

Re: Posting pics
it took me a few goes to figure it out! If you have the picture saved on your computer, click on teh 'host and image' icon, use 'browse' to find it, then click 'host it'. i then clicked the middle 'copy' and then you need to paste the link it comes up with into your message.
Sounds complicated, and i'm sure someone will come on with a better explaination, but hopefully that'll do until then!

Re: Posting pics
photobucket...
Sign up and then on the homepage of photobucket it says upload pictures, click that to browse pictures on your computer, once it has uploaded it will show that picture with 4 different codes under it....i click on the bottom code and it says copied....then all you have to do is click on paste in the message box and hey presto.
Hope this helps

I am surprised it is letting you do that - as I haven't managed to use that and the host says that it isn't possible at the moment unless they have change that.
Anyway I am not sure but I think if we have lots of photos on the site it will slow it down considerably as it builds upso it is better to use photobucket.
As fluff says you make an account and upload to their site then you need to copy the DIRECT LINK by clicking on it than paste that into the img link in your editor.
Oops need to get back to work - hadn't noticed the class come in
