Girl shih tzus looking for a new home

Post by simbalove on Thu May 13, 2010 6:02 pm

I know of a lady who is going through the mill at the moment and as a result is needing to rehome two of her shih tzu - a puppy and a one year old (both bitches) - if anyone is interested please can you contact me via pm and I can give you details and cost. They are both KC registered.

I do hope the lady finds a good home for them very soon. I wish I could offer because we have a huge garden, but hubby won't entertain the idea of more little ones.I did try.It must be a heart breaking decision to part with them.

Unfortunately I think he will. I have only had this Hubby for eight years after 18 years on my own so cannot take the risk!! otherwise I certainly would they are such a wonderful breed I wish I had discovered them much sooner. Tasha is crying by me now the little monkey wanting her tea. Bless.

I saw a lovely shih tzu on my way to work this morning....it was all over champayne colour with a black face, lovely head and tail. I could have dognapped it.

We have noticed this, we thought it was more to do with a gentler breed of dog, although he is fine with Holly but she is a softy for a JRT and very quiet.

If you ever take a group of shih tzu out together they become a MOB!! lol! They join forces to gang up on other breeds! There are many stories I could tell you - like the time a family of shih tzu would NOT let a family member's springer spaniel across the kitchen threshold - because they believed it to be THEIR territory (and they did this WITHOUT resorting to violence)! Or like Josh on holiday in Scotland when the lodge owner came to visit, his three spaniels sat at the open patio doors looking so sorry for themselves - wondering why they could not come into their own "home"!! josh hadn't said a word - he just gave them a Shih Tzu "look" bouncy lol

Oh wow thats interesting Lesley! I find Roxy is more socialable than Rooney. Though I have found them a friend today in a village near us. I am sure it is related to Roxy in some way as they got theirs from the same place. I will report on how mine get on with another shih tzu as they have not really met another one before.

Sandra you're in the same boat as me!! Love another one!
